Nutri Life Clinic to Provide Free Nutrition Counselling opens in Delhi

Heinz Nutrition Foundation India (HNFI), the CSR arm of Heinz India has launched Nutri Life Clinic today in New Delhi. 
The Nutri Life Clinic is an initiative to interact, consult and counsel people needing nutritional advices free of charge. Ms. Neelanjana Singh, Chief Nutritionist, Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute (PSRI) will be in charge of the clinic and will be providing free counseling on personal nutritional problems at the clinic on prior appointments thrice a week. Anyone from children, young parents, and elderly could avail the services of the clinic. This is the 3rd clinic of HNFI in India with earlier presence in Chennai and Bengaluru.
The consultant would counsel persons with general debility, weight loss, weight gain, malnutrition induced conditions like obesity, persons suffering from lifestyle diseases like diabetes, hypertension etc.
Speaking on this initiative Dr. P. Jagannivas, Director, Heinz Nutrition Foundation India says With so much of news clutter and confusion created about nutrition, malnutrition is assuming alarming proportions, in spite of food security. Therefore our purpose is to reach as many people as possible and advise them on proper nutrition and diet counseling, and to provide guidance depending on the specific condition of the patient.
Ms. Neelanjana Singh adds Getting the right advice on diet can work wonders for people with health problems. Modern nutrition has many wonderful-even miraculous-diet based treatments. Unfortunately, people get confused by too many unverified pseudo-scientific theories about diet and nutrition that are floating around. The idea behind this clinic is to provide practical dietary solutions to health as well as weight problems afflicting both the young and the elderly.
The clinic will operate only 3 days in a week on prior appointment basis.
