Apollo Hospitals has appointed Abhishek Jain as Senior General Manager, strengthening its leadership team with a professional bringing more than 15 years of experience across international healthcare business, strategic business development, marketing, operations and medical tourism.

Jain has extensive experience working across international healthcare markets, including Asia, Africa, the GCC and CIS regions, with a focus on international business development, healthcare partnerships and patient services.

Prior to returning to Apollo Hospitals, Jain served as Head of International Business at Max Healthcare. He previously held the position of General Manager – International Business at Apollo Hospitals, giving him prior experience within the organisation’s international healthcare business.

His career also includes leadership experience at Manipal Health Enterprises. Earlier, Jain served as Assistant Manager – International Marketing at Apollo Hospitals, along with product and business development roles at Win-Medicare and Biotavia Pharm. Ltd.

With his experience spanning international healthcare markets and medical tourism, Jain’s appointment comes amid the continued expansion of India’s role as a destination for international patients seeking specialised and cost-effective healthcare services.
