Tata Elxsi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) to accelerate healthcare innovation and advance the development of indigenous medical technologies. The collaboration aims to bridge clinical research, engineering, and product development to create next-generation healthcare solutions.
The partnership will focus on co-developing innovative medical devices, digital health technologies, and AI-enabled healthcare solutions by combining Tata Elxsi’s expertise in design, engineering, and digital technologies with SCTIMST’s strengths in biomedical research and clinical innovation.
Under the MoU, both organisations will collaborate on translational research, product validation, regulatory support, and technology commercialisation, enabling faster development of affordable, high-quality MedTech solutions for India’s healthcare ecosystem.
