Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA, will launch Sodium Phosphate Injection in the United States, with commercial distribution expected to commence in April.

The injectable product has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) and will be introduced in the US market as part of Glenmark’s expanding portfolio of sterile injectable formulations. The product will be manufactured and supplied in compliance with US regulatory standards and distributed through established hospital and institutional channels.

Sodium Phosphate Injection is used in clinical settings under medical supervision and forms part of hospital-based treatment protocols. The addition of this product further strengthens Glenmark’s presence in the US generics market, particularly within the injectable segment, which continues to remain a key focus area for pharmaceutical companies operating in regulated markets.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has been expanding its US business through approvals and launches across complex generics and injectable products. The upcoming rollout of Sodium Phosphate Injection aligns with the company’s strategy to enhance its portfolio depth in the North American market while addressing demand for approved injectable therapies.

The company stated that distribution activities will begin in April following the completion of commercial readiness processes. With this launch, Glenmark continues to build its pipeline of regulated-market products and reinforce its footprint in the US pharmaceutical market through approved injectable offerings.
