TIME100 Most Influential Company of 2025, Qure.ai, has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to scale its AI-driven lung cancer solutions across the United States.

Through this collaboration, Qure.ai’s comprehensive lung cancer detection, measurement, and management suite will be integrated into Microsoft’s Precision Imaging Network. This move is expected to simplify adoption for hospitals and health systems, enabling them to rapidly deploy cutting-edge AI tools within existing clinical workflows.

Qure.ai’s lung cancer platform is powered by advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI, designed to support multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, pulmonologists, interventional specialists, and thoracic surgeons. The goal: to accelerate the patient journey from early detection to diagnosis and treatment—critical in a country where lung cancer continues to cause more deaths than breast, colon, and prostate cancers combined.

Jim Mercadante, Chief Commercial Officer at Qure.ai, emphasised how the collaboration will unlock greater choice and ease of implementation for U.S. healthcare providers. “This partnership enhances access to early detection, triage, and longitudinal tracking, all of which strengthen patient outcomes and help lower system-wide costs,” he said. He also highlighted Qure.ai’s expanding global alliances and the company’s recent milestone—five million scans across 20 countries—achieved through its partnership with AstraZeneca and the EDISON Alliance.

Microsoft’s Corporate VP and Chief Strategy Officer for Health & Life Sciences, Peter Durlach, noted that integrating Qure.ai’s solutions into the Precision Imaging Network will help health systems drive efficiency at scale. “From earlier identification to more coordinated care delivery, this collaboration aligns with our commitment to equip healthcare organisations with secure, scalable cloud-based AI tools,” he added.

Qure.ai, with deployments in more than 105 countries and over 4,800 sites, has built one of the most comprehensive FDA-cleared portfolios in the space—featuring 19 findings related to lung cancer and neurocritical care. Its products range from qXR-LN for incidental lung nodule detection on X-rays, to qCT-LN Quant for CT-based measurements, and qTrack for ongoing patient management. The company also offers qER, an AI solution that supports emergency teams by flagging critical neuro findings for rapid intervention.

The partnership underscores the growing convergence of AI, cloud integration, and clinical decision support in shaping the next generation of cancer care. As U.S. providers seek scalable digital health infrastructure, the Qure.ai–Microsoft collaboration is poised to strengthen early detection capabilities and streamline multidisciplinary care coordination across the nation.
