AI-enabled care pathways, free access for low-income families, and CSR-backed support drive nationwide expansion.
Navya Care has expanded its network of regional collaborations to strengthen access to evidence-based cancer care across India, signalling a major step forward in the country’s efforts to decentralise oncology services. By integrating its AI-powered Navya Earthshot system with regional and government hospitals, the organisation is enabling clinicians and patients in tier-2 and tier-3 cities to benefit from standardised, guideline-aligned treatment plans.
The initiative builds on the National Cancer Grid’s (NCG) mandate to align cancer care with uniform, evidence-backed protocols. Navya’s technology and service model operationalise these guidelines by connecting regional clinicians, multidisciplinary teams, and patients to treatment recommendations that reflect national standards. Importantly, these services are available at no cost for economically vulnerable patients through a CSR-supported program.
As part of a pilot phase, Navya Earthshot has been deployed across public and charitable hospitals in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Assam, where early findings indicate improvements in guideline adherence, faster treatment decision-making, and reduced non-essential hospital visits. Encouraged by these results, Navya has begun rolling out the program in Maharashtra, with hospitals including Anand Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nanded, and Vivekananda Cancer Hospital, Latur, already on board. Since its launch in August 2025, the Maharashtra CSR initiative has supported more than 1,000 patients.
Eligible patients can access the service by sharing identity or income-support documents such as ration cards, BPL certificates, income certificates, or government hospital admission cards. Treatment planning and navigation support are delivered through Navya’s platform or via partner hospitals, allowing for seamless integration with existing clinical workflows.
“This collaboration is a transformative step toward ensuring that quality cancer care is not limited by geography,” said Dr. Naresh Ramarajan, Co-founder, Navya Care. “By bringing tertiary-level expertise closer to patients, we can significantly reduce the delays, costs, and emotional burden associated with cancer treatment.”
For more than a decade, Navya has collaborated with experts from Tata Memorial Centre and the National Cancer Grid to deliver evidence-based online treatment opinions. The platform is also widely used by oncologists for multidisciplinary tumour board discussions, complex case reviews, and validation of treatment plans by public and private healthcare organisations. Navya’s clinical decision-support system has been evaluated at multiple national and international medical forums.
Through its expanding regional partnerships, Navya aims to decongest tertiary cancer centres, shorten the time to treatment initiation, and reduce travel burdens for patients from smaller towns. By embedding standardised guidelines into hospital workflows and offering AI-assisted decision support directly to patients and clinicians, the organisation is driving a more equitable model of cancer care delivery across India.
