In a strategic leadership move, ShardaCare Healthcity has appointed Dr. Kousar Shah as its Group Chief Executive Officer. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare management and clinical practice, Dr. Shah will take charge of driving the organisation’s next phase of expansion, operational efficiency, and patient-first innovations across its hospitals.

In his new role, Dr. Shah will oversee ShardaCare Healthcity and Sharda Hospital, focusing on enhancing integrated healthcare delivery while widening access to advanced, affordable care across India. His leadership track record includes successful stints at Max Healthcare, Fortis Healthcare, BLK Super Speciality Hospital, Columbia Asia, Artemis, Paras Healthcare, and Aakash Healthcare.

A clinician turned healthcare strategist, Dr. Shah has consistently steered hospitals towards sustainable growth, improved EBITDA, digital transformation initiatives like eHIS and paperless operations, and robust academic programs. Beyond operational leadership, he is known as a TEDx speaker, mentor for emerging leaders, NLP-certified coach, and an advocate for integrating leadership with spiritual and people-centric philosophies.

Commenting on his appointment, Dr. Shah said, “It is an honour to lead ShardaCare Healthcity, which was founded on the vision of making quality healthcare accessible to all, even in India’s remotest regions.
