Boston-based startup aims to eliminate bottlenecks in regulated scientific workflows with intelligent AI agents built for compliance-heavy environments.
LogicFlo AI has raised $2.7 million in seed funding, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and supported by several top-tier healthcare and enterprise AI investors. The funding marks a significant step forward for the company’s mission to accelerate regulated work across pharma, biotech, and medtech sectors through intelligent, composable AI agents.
Founded by Udith Vaidyanathan and Arun Ramakrishnan, LogicFlo AI is already making waves with its platform that reduces complex scientific documentation and compliance timelines from weeks to hours, all while ensuring full traceability and adherence to strict regulatory protocols.

“Too often, experts in medical, regulatory, and commercial functions are spending their time on repetitive formatting and document stitching, rather than advancing science. Our platform is designed to empower these professionals with AI collaborators that think, adapt, and execute under human oversight,” said Vaidyanathan, CEO of LogicFlo and a former Abbott executive.

The company’s AI agents—currently deployed within major global life sciences firms—are being used to accelerate tasks such as medical writing, regulatory authoring, quality documentation, and medical communications. In one case, medical writing tasks that previously required weeks were completed in mere minutes, representing up to a 2,000-fold improvement in drafting speed.

LogicFlo AI’s model is distinct in that it offers a human-in-the-loop, audit-ready framework suited to regulated industries. Unlike rigid automation tools or generic AI copilots, LogicFlo’s agents are SOP-aware, tailored to individual organisational workflows, and capable of breaking down tasks into subtasks, escalating only when human intervention is needed.

Rohil Bagga, Vice President at Lightspeed, commented on the investment: “We see LogicFlo as a foundational shift in how life sciences companies will work. Their platform enables intelligent workflows that dramatically improve productivity while respecting the complex regulatory landscape.”
The startup’s roadmap includes building deeper integrations with sector-native platforms like Veeva and IQVIA, expanding its AI agent library, and growing its team to meet global demand. A Fortune 500 client is already using LogicFlo’s system, validating its capability at scale.
Arun Ramakrishnan, CTO of LogicFlo, who previously led AI efforts at Intuitive Surgical, emphasised the platform’s advantage: “We didn’t build generic automation—we built a platform that understands the nuance and rigour of scientific work.”
LogicFlo AI is a Boston-based startup transforming the life sciences industry by equipping medical, regulatory, and quality experts with intelligent agents capable of executing high-compliance tasks. With a focus on usability, composability, and regulatory robustness, LogicFlo empowers professionals to focus on science while AI handles the structure and scale.
