In a significant development poised to reshape India’s preventive healthcare landscape, ekincare, the country’s leading AI-powered integrated digital health gateway, has secured a strategic investment from MSD IDEA Studio Asia Pacific, a key initiative of the MSD Global Health Innovation Fund (MGHIF). The investment round also attracted participation from HealthQuad, an existing investor and healthcare-focused venture capital firm.
Although the financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the announcement marks a pivotal milestone in ekincare’s journey, bringing its total capital raised to $22 million since its inception in 2015.
Founded by Kiran Kalakuntla (CEO), Srikanth Samudrala (CTO), and Noel Coutinho (CBO), ekincare has evolved into a comprehensive digital health platform leveraging AI, data analytics, and telemedicine to deliver personalised, accessible, and preventive care. The company currently partners with over 1,000 corporates and boasts a vast network of 40,000+ healthcare providers across India.
With this new backing, ekincare is set to deepen its focus on AI-driven, personalised Outpatient Department (OPD) solutions, aiming to revolutionise corporate primary and preventive healthcare. According to the company, the fresh capital will be channelled towards expanding its cashless OPD infrastructure and enriching its AI analytics capabilities, which are critical enablers for improving outcomes in chronic disease management, preventive care, and employee wellness.

Between 2020 and 2025, ekincare has witnessed a 10x increase in its corporate client base, expanded service offerings by 4x, increased network coverage by 6x, and onboarded 11x more healthcare and wellness partners, significantly scaling its integrated care delivery capabilities.
