Pristyn Care

In a major step toward enhancing patient care and streamlining healthcare services, Pristyn Care has announced a new pilot program offering cashless treatments in non-network hospitals, in collaboration with Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Park TPA. This initiative aligns with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India’s (IRDAI)Insurance for All by 2047” mission, expanding insurance coverage beyond traditional network hospitals and reducing the financial burden on patients.

Simplifying Cashless Access in Non-Network Hospitals

Traditionally, insurance benefits are restricted to empanelled hospitals, leaving patients at non-network facilities to pay upfront and seek reimbursements later. Pristyn Care’s new program bridges this gap by offering cashless services at non-empanelled hospitals, ensuring smoother treatment access. The initiative aims to foster greater trust in health insurance, addressing the common concerns and misinformation surrounding insurance claims and payment processes.

This collaboration with insurers and TPAs also seeks to eliminate administrative bottlenecks that typically arise in healthcare delivery. By offering a cashless facility, Pristyn Care ensures that patients can focus on recovery rather than dealing with complicated billing procedures and delayed reimbursements.

Express Discharge Service to Reduce Wait Times by 90%

A key feature of this initiative is the introduction of a 45-minute Express Discharge Service at all partner hospitals. Pristyn Care aims to cut down discharge wait times by up to 90%, addressing a significant pain point in Indian healthcare, where discharge processes can take up to 6–8 hours.

Through the Express Discharge Service, Pristyn Care will manage the administrative formalities directly with insurers and TPAs, ensuring patients are discharged promptly within 45 minutes of receiving the final approval. This improvement enhances the patient experience, minimizing delays and making the surgical journey more convenient.

Addressing Key Insurance and Operational Challenges

Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Co-founder of Pristyn Care, said, “Our commitment at Pristyn Care is to revolutionize healthcare experiences for our patients. Our studies reveal that 50% of discharge delays occur due to insurance claim processes. The Express Discharge Service is a step toward eliminating these delays and enhancing patient convenience. By extending cashless treatments to non-network hospitals, we are breaking down barriers and ensuring healthcare becomes stress-free, aligning with IRDAI’s vision of ‘Insurance for All.”

Collaborative Approach to Transform Healthcare Delivery

This innovative partnership between Pristyn Care, Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Park TPA, and other insurers reflects a forward-thinking approach to healthcare and insurance management. It not only ensures smoother cashless treatment access but also strengthens patient-centric care by reducing administrative complexities and discharge delays.

By rolling out this pilot, Pristyn Care aims to gain deeper insights into patient financial challenges and identify further areas for improvement in India’s healthcare delivery system. This program sets the stage for enhanced collaboration between healthcare providers and insurers, reaffirming a shared commitment to improving patient care, accessibility, and convenience.

With these initiatives, Pristyn Care continues to lead the way in creating seamless healthcare experiences, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care without the worry of long waits or financial stress.
