The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is expanding its healthcare network with seven new medical facilities across six states, aimed at improving healthcare access for insured workers and their families. Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate the projects at ESIC Hospital, Sanathnagar, Telangana, on July 14.
The new infrastructure includes an OPD block at ESIC Hospital, Sanathnagar, an upgraded hospital in Beltola, Assam, a 100-bed hospital in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, a hospital in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh, and new dispensaries and branch offices in Surendranagar, Kota, and Bhawani Mandi.
With an investment of nearly ₹668 crore, the facilities are expected to benefit around 53 lakh ESIC beneficiaries nationwide. The Sanathnagar OPD block alone will serve more than 12.3 lakh insured persons and beneficiaries in Telangana.
The upgraded Beltola hospital will cater to beneficiaries across the Northeast, while the Sriperumbudur hospital will provide healthcare services to nearly 5.5 lakh insured workers. The Rajamahendravaram facility is expected to serve over 1.31 lakh insured persons.

The centres in Surendranagar, Kota, and Bhawani Mandi will further strengthen ESIC’s outreach, providing healthcare services to thousands of insured workers and their dependents.
The expansion is part of the government’s efforts to enhance social security and healthcare coverage for workers by strengthening ESIC’s medical infrastructure across the country.
