Dr Hiremath brings over a decade of experience in managing high-risk cardiac and aortic conditions across leading healthcare institutions in India and overseas. His expertise spans aortic aneurysm repair, aortic valve reconstruction, hybrid endovascular procedures, structural heart interventions, and minimally invasive valve-preserving surgeries. He has completed advanced fellowships in vascular and endovascular surgery, with specialised training in aortic reconstruction and complex cardiovascular interventions.
According to Apollo Hospitals, Dr Hiremath’s appointment will further strengthen its specialised cardiovascular programmes, particularly in complex aortic disease management, valve repair, and structural heart care. The hospital is also expanding its structural heart programme to address the growing number of younger patients requiring advanced cardiac interventions.

He has also contributed to clinical research in aortic diseases and actively advocates early diagnosis of thoracic and abdominal aortic conditions to improve patient outcomes.
