17th Elets Healthcare Innovation Summit & Awards

New Delhi, 6th November 2025: The 17th Elets Healthcare Innovation Summit & Awards, hosted at Hotel Le Méridien, New Delhi, convened the nation’s most influential healthcare leaders, policymakers, digital health innovators, MedTech pioneers, and hospital administrators for a transformative day of insights, policy dialogue, and collaborative action.

The event reaffirmed India’s commitment to building a future-ready, equitable, and AI-enabled healthcare system—one where technology amplifies human compassion and enhances clinical outcomes.

A Powerful Opening: Innovation Meets Purpose

The summit commenced with an inspiring welcome by Dr. Ravi Gupta, Founder & CEO of Elets Technomedia and Editor-in-Chief of eHealth Magazine.
In his address, he emphasised the human-centric philosophy behind India’s AI transformation:

“India’s AI revolution is not just about deploying powerful technologies—it’s about deploying them responsibly. The goal of AI in healthcare is not to replace the human touch, but to amplify it, ensuring a future where technology and compassion walk together to deliver care that is smarter, faster, and accessible to all.”

The dignitaries gracing the inaugural session included experts from national health bodies, hospital networks, academia, and the technology ecosystem. The inauguration also featured the launch of a special edition of eHealth Magazine, titled “AI in Action”, offering a comprehensive analysis of India’s accelerating AI health-tech ecosystem—from real-world case studies to exclusive interviews and regulatory insights shaping the next decade of healthcare.

Keynote Reflections: Strengthening India’s Health Infrastructure

Delivering a compelling inaugural address, Dr. Ujjwal Kumar, IAS, highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s rapid digital health adoption:

“Right from the beginning, we used technology to strengthen healthcare facilities across the state. Our TTT formula—Trace, Test, Treat—was implemented efficiently across all 75 districts during COVID-19. Uttar Pradesh alone has provided 2.2 crore teleconsultations through eSanjeevani, taking specialist care directly to village-level Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.”

The afternoon keynote by Shri Madhukar Kumar Bhagat, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, provided an impactful perspective on India’s digital health roadmap:

“Technology is the means—not the end. The real objective is strengthening the four pillars of healthcare: availability, accessibility, affordability, and quality. With only 10–12 doctors per 10,000 people, digital health becomes a vital enabler to extend care, bridge gaps, and ensure that no citizen is left behind.”

Insightful Panel Discussions: Shaping Smarter Healthcare

The Summit featured high-powered discussions bringing together senior government officials, hospital leadership, industry captains, and innovators.
The marquee panel titled “Policy, Infrastructure & Digital Regulation for Smarter Healthcare” brought rich perspectives from:

Ritesh Agarwal, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC)

He highlighted CGMSC’s role in transforming healthcare delivery—from drug procurement and medical equipment supply to building new medical colleges and strengthening public health infrastructure across Chhattisgarh.

Dr. Sunil K Khetarpal, Deputy Director General, AHPI

He emphasised AHPI’s mission of advocating for accessible, affordable, quality healthcare:
“With 20 active state chapters, our core work lies in policy advocacy to ensure universal health coverage for every citizen.”

Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Rana, CEO, Quality & Accreditation Institute (QAI)

He spoke about QAI’s leadership in setting comprehensive standards across healthcare—from single-doctor clinics to tertiary hospitals—addressing the evolving technological and regulatory landscape.

Industry Insight: Evidence AI for Doctors

Vivek Slaria, CEO, OneOrg.ai, shared the journey behind building OneRX, India’s first clinical evidence AI platform trained exclusively on peer-reviewed medical data:
“Despite thousands of new papers being published daily, clinicians often rely on fragmented information networks. We built OneRX to bridge this evidence gap—securely, accurately, and responsibly.”
