Nova IVF Fertility (NIF), one of India’s most trusted and fastest-expanding fertility care providers, has inaugurated its 100th centre in Jammu, reaffirming its mission to offer accessible, ethical, and high-quality fertility solutions across India—especially in underserved tier 2 and tier 3 regions.

In a significant milestone for reproductive healthcare in India, Nova IVF Fertility has officially opened its 100th centre in Jammu, further deepening its presence in Northern India. The launch underlines the organisation’s commitment to tackling India’s mounting fertility challenges and ensuring the availability of standardised, world-class fertility treatment across the nation.

Since its acquisition by Asia Healthcare Holdings in 2019, Nova IVF has grown from 19 to 100 centres, now reaching 63 cities across India. With 28 centres in 21 Northern cities and the remaining spread across South, East, and Central India, the organisation’s expansive footprint reflects a determined push to bridge the fertility care gap, particularly in smaller cities and semi-urban regions.

“Our 100th centre is more than a number—it represents 100 access points to new possibilities for aspiring parents,” said Shobhit Agarwal, CEO, Nova IVF Fertility. “This milestone aligns with our vision to bring quality fertility care closer to communities and address the evolving reproductive health needs of India.”

Addressing India’s Fertility Paradox
India is at a critical juncture demographically. The country’s fertility rate has seen a steep decline—from 6.18 in 1950 to just 2.0 today—and is projected to fall further to 1.29 by 2050, well below the replacement threshold of 2.1. This demographic shift, driven by urbanisation, lifestyle changes, and delayed parenthood, demands focused national attention.

Nova IVF is positioning itself at the forefront of this challenge with solutions rooted in medical science, patient-centricity, and ethical practices. More than 50% of its centres have been launched in tier 2 and tier 3 cities like Gorakhpur, Vellore, Ludhiana, and Howrah, making fertility care more inclusive and geographically equitable.
Technology, Ethics, and Expertise at the Core
With over 120 fertility specialists and 150 trained embryologists—each boasting an average of 10 years of experience—Nova IVF follows globally benchmarked protocols, ensuring safety, uniformity, and high success rates across all its centres. Approximately 90% of IVF cycles at Nova use the couple’s own eggs and sperm, with emphasis on personalised treatment approaches.
Dr. Rohit Gutgutia, Medical Director at Nova IVF Fertility, noted a growing trend in younger patients experiencing fertility issues. “We now see challenges emerging as early as the 31-35 age group. Placing embryology and data science at the heart of our IVF approach has become essential,” he said.
The organisation leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assess embryo viability and enhance IVF outcomes. In addition, advanced interventions such as Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) are used to screen for hereditary conditions like thalassemia and sickle cell disease. Nova IVF is also exploring next-generation techniques like ovarian rejuvenation and stem cell therapy for women with compromised ovarian function.

“Every centre we open reflects our pledge to bring science, compassion, and hope to those struggling with infertility—no matter where they live,” Agarwal added.
