In a concerted effort to combat cancer and empower women with knowledge, CLIRNET® unveiled the #SheWinsCancer campaign on DocTube™, a platform dedicated to genuine medical education videos for patients by verified doctors. Timed to coincide with International Women’s Day 2024, the campaign ran from March 1st to March 10th, aiming to raise awareness about breast, cervical, uterine, and ovarian cancer while providing vital information on prevention, detection, and treatment.

The cornerstone of the #SheWinsCancer campaign was the release of over 1000 short informational videos produced by more than 500 gynecologists and oncologists from across India. These videos, released every 15 minutes in multiple vernacular languages, covered a wide array of topics, including symptoms, tests, treatments, and support resources for various types of cancer affecting women.

The campaign’s impact was profound, recording an impressive reach of over 6.5 million and attracting over a million viewers. Viewers had free access to a wealth of information, with a particular emphasis on uterine cancer, which garnered the highest interest among users. Videos debunking common cancer myths and highlighting risk factors drew significant attention, reflecting the campaign’s effectiveness in engaging and educating the audience.

The #SheWinsCancer campaign featured the expertise of renowned medical professionals dedicated to women’s health. Esteemed doctors such as Dr. Ratnabali Chakravorty, Dr. Ambuja Choranur, Dr. Pramod Kumar Julka, Dr. Duru Shah, Dr. Kiran Cohelo, Dr. Manjula Anagani, and Dr. Nandita Palshetkar lent their insights and support to the initiative. The campaign also garnered support from industry giants like ICICI Bank and celebrities like Padma Bhushan Singer Usha Uthup, further amplifying its reach and impact.

Mr. Saurav Kasera, Co-Founder of CLIRNET®, emphasized the critical role of awareness and early intervention in combating cancer, particularly in light of the escalating global burden of cancer cases. Through the #SheWinsCancer campaign, CLIRNET® aims to equip Indian women and their families with the knowledge and support they need to overcome cancer, empowering them to take control of their health and well-being.

The #SheWinsCancer campaign has emerged as a beacon of hope and empowerment, resonating deeply with viewers and reaffirming CLIRNET®’s commitment to raising awareness and promoting early detection and prevention of cancer.
