HealthCare at HOME

HealthCare at HOME (HCAH) has reportedly said that it has acquired SuVitas Holistic Healthcare, a transition care firm. The deal is in cash as well as stock. However, the company has not revealed any financial details of the new deal. HCAH is a joint venture between the Burman family, the promoters of Dabur and the founders of HAH, the UK. After the acquisition, SuVitas Holistic Healthcare becomes a 100% subsidiary of the company, HCAH’s statement reads.

“We want to be the largest player in the chronic and pre and post-hospital care space in the country, and effectively work as a hospital outside of the hospital through working in collaboration with the hospitals and doctors to provide a continuum of care to the patients,” PTI quoted Vivek, Co-founder & CEO of HCAH as saying.

With this objective, Srivastava added, the company has acquired SuVitas as well as expanded its service portfolio in the transition care segment. Antra Bhargava, CEO, SuVitas said, “Transition care is that part of the healthcare industry that bridges tertiary and home healthcare. That is the precise reason why SuVitas was conceptualised. Given the obvious synergies and the HCAH vision for India, all of us at SuVitas are excited to merge with HCAH India”.
