No Ration no masks

The Uttar Pradesh government has reportedly said that it will not provide rations to people, if they do not adhere to Covid safety norms and do not wear facemasks amid the rising corona cases in the state.

Imposing strict rules in response to the upsurge of Covid-19 cases in the state, Uttar Pradesh Health Department has made it mandatory for buyers to wear facemasks. The state’s health department has said that buyers will not be provided with any rations if they are found without wearing facemasks and do not follow Covid safety protocols.


According to Uttar Pradesh health minister Jai Pratap Singh, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, among other cities of the northern state, will have to follow the Covid rules for curbing the new surge of Covid-19.
