NEET PG and MDS 2020: MCC announces counselling round 2 schedule; check details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for round two of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG and MDS (NEET PG and MDS).

As per the schedule, the registration will begin from June 3 to 9, 2020. MCC has also extended the deadline to resign the allotted seat of round one counselling till June 1.

Candidates can check round 2 counselling schedule and the notification regarding the resignation of seats allotted in round 1 counselling on the official website – mcc.nic.in.

The NEET PG and MDS Round 2 counselling is conducted for the admissions to the 50 per cent All India Quota for the Deemed/ Central Universities, ESIC and AFMC institutes.

Registrations for new candidates to begin on 3 June, 2020

Last date to register online till 9 June up to 10 am

Choice filling–From 4 June till 9 June, 2020

Release of the second seat allotment list–12 June, 2020

Last date for admission confirmation–18 June, 2020

Steps to register for NEET PG Counselling round two

  • Candidates need to visit mcc.nic.in and enter your exam roll number, application form number, name of the candidate, date of birth, security pin, and other asked details.
  • Enter personal, academic, NEET PG/MDS, communication, and other asked details.
  • Pay the fee in the online mode using net banking, credit/debit cards.

The second round of counselling is majorly an upgradation round for the candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round of NEET MDS counselling 2020. Candidates who had joined the allotted institute in-time and had opted for ‘upgradation’ can participate in the second round by modifying the choices filled during the first round.

On the basis of the choices filled by the candidates and NEET PG scores, the authority will release NEET PG round two counseling result mentioning the names of the candidates. Such candidates will have to report to the allotted college.
