NEET PG Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date of resignation of seats for candidates who joined their allotted college in (NEET) PG round 1 counselling. Now, candidates can do so till May 8, 2020 by 5 pm. The decision is undertaken amidst the Corona crisis and ensuing nationwide lockdown.

Those who wish to give up seat can send their information to the allotted college by email, They can also report physically and the respective college will resign the seat online so that the resigned seats will come back in the system for allotment in Round 2.


The MCC has also requested colleges to email the resignation letter to such candidates.

Candidates who resign their seats will be allowed to participate in the second round of counselling. For the second round allotment, students will have to submit fresh choices.

The details for the second round of counselling will be released soon on the official website.


The MCC, in a notification released on 21 April, said candidates who have joined allotted college of first round but want to resign their seat can do so from 11 am on 22 April to 5 pm on 4 May.
