New dates for JEE Main and NEET UG 2020 Exams will be announced today by HRD minsiter Ramesh Pokhriyal in his live webinar which were postponed due to the Covid- 19 lockdown.

According to an official statement from MHRD, a new Joint Entrance Examination for April 2020 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 will be announced in a webinar on May 5.


The HRD Minister will answer students’ questions on Twitter and Facebook via webinars starting at 12 noon today. Students express concern about many things such as postponing exams, moving students without exams during locking, expected exam dates, and more on Twitter using the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

The NEET UG 2020 exam was originally scheduled to take place on May 3, while the April JEE Main exam is scheduled to begin in the first week of April.

However, the both examinations were postponed after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a national lockdown because of the corona virus outbreak.
