Dabur India chairman Amit Burman

Chairman of Dabur India Amit Burman has bought a stake in emotional and mental wellness platform No Worry No Tension Healthcare (NWNT). It has been clarified the investment has been done in his personal capacity.

“This can potentially cause disruption in a society that’s craving for uplift. Stress levels are up over multiple factors and there’s escalation amidst the Covid-19 pandemic with people going through emotional, health and financial stress,” Burman was quoted as saying by an ET report.

Burman’s existing investments and ventures outside of Dabur include Lite Bite Foods which runs restaurants brands Punjab Grill, Street Foods and Zambar, liquor importing firm Nature’s Bounty Wines and Allied Products, Poker Sports League and Ultimate Kho Kho League.

NWNT, a Delhi-based startup has been set up by Psychiatrist Sandeep Vohra , who has more than 25 years of experience in the field of emotional health and mental health wellness. The startup which came into being in 2011, uses augmented human intelligence-based technology to screen, evaluate, prevent and treat emotional and mental health disorders, information on its website said.

In his message on NWNT website, Dr Vohra says he has always found emotional wellness to be at the bottom of priority for everyone whether it is an individual, an organisation (private or govt ), a corporate, school, hospital, college, university, etc, “which I really find absurd as we all know that happiness is all about healthy emotional state of mind and so I do not understand how we can pursue our goal of happiness in life without focussing on our emotional health”.
