Yashwant Mahadik has been appointed as President, Global Human Resources, Lupin announced on Tuesday.
In an official statement, the drug firm said Mahadik will be based in Mumbai and will report to Lupin CEO Vinita Gupta and its Managing Director Nilesh Gupta.
His last assignment was with Sun Pharmaceuticals as Global Chief Human Resources Officer prior to which he held HR roles with increasing responsibilities at companies like Philips, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca and Colgate Palmolive, statement said.

Mahadik is a seasoned global HR professional having rich experience across industries. He worked in top companies such as Crompton Greaves, Colgate Palmolive, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. In January 2018, he had resigned from his role as utive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Sun Pharma.
