Global medical technologies firm GE Healthcare has joined hands with the Indo-UK Institute of Health (IUIH) to offer radiology support to IUIH Medicities programme in India, under which medical centres of excellence will be set up across 11 states in India.

Under the partnership, announced at the India-UK Technology Summit in New Delhi held a month earlier, a training and education centre will be set up on the campus of one of IUIH’s Medicities with GE Healthcare providing course content and skill creation training programmes to the students.

The agreement demonstrates our strategic intent to create a globally admired, affordable and accountable Indo UK Institute of Health Medicities Programme. With this partnership, we will have access to not just the best in radiology imaging products, but also world-class customer after-care, training and ongoing R&D, which will benefit patients in India,” said Ajay Rajan Gupta, MD and CEO, IUIH.
