Amulet Innovality offers two powerful tools as in dual mode tomosynthesis and stereo biopsy in one system.
Hexagonal Close Pattern(HCP) detector
In its journey to offer cutting-edge technologies dedicated for women, 50μ pixel is the benchmark achievement by Fujifilm Corporation, Japan, for a true Digital Mammography and now further improved with Hexagonal Close Pattern (HCP) detector design. The new detector efficiently collects electrical signal converted from X-rays to realize both high resolution and low noise. This unique design makes it possible to realise a higher Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE) than with the square pixel array of conventional panels. With the information collected by the HCP detector, the device creates high definition images with a pixel size of 50 μm – the finest available with a direct-conversion detector. This low-noise and high-speed switching technology allows tomosynthesis exposures with a low X-ray dosage and short acquisition time to be performed.
Intelligent AEC
The unique feature of Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) has advantages in defining the optimal dose for an examination compared to conventional AEC systems where the sensor position is fixed.

Image Spectrum Conversion Technology
The image spectrum conversion (ISC) technology makes it possible to process an image acquired with W anode with an appearance like obtained from MO anode. This results in improvement of contrast with 10 per cent reduction in dose.
Amulet Harmony (more patient friendly)
With a range of mammography solutions specifically designed to maintain a harmonious examination environment and foster an atmosphere of trust between mammography and their patients. The design incorporates a sweet paddle that offers more compression with less pain and also reduces dose levels. In addition, there are mood lightings that further reduce the fear while screening and makes the environment friendlier thus calming the patient.
