Pink Elephant
In collaboration with Indian Cancer Society, DLF Foundation, the philanthropic arm of DLF Limited, YouWeCan and Artemis Hospital organized its first ever Cyclothon “ The Pink Ride, Ride to Beat Cancer today at Sector 29, Gurgaon for Cancer Awareness for children in the age group of 3 to 18 years.

The Cyclothon kickstarted with approximately 1000 participants. The idea was to highlight the issues surrounding cancer and to encourage the people to be actively involved in the promotion and prevention of cancer control along with fitness. Another objective of Cyclothon was to organize physical activity among children to promote awareness and understanding about obesity & physical inactivity as prime causes for concern towards cancer.


The Cyclothon had three categories namely Tiny Tot Cycle March for kids of age group 3-5 years, Young Cyclers March for kids of age group 6-12 years and the Senior Cyclers of age group 13-18 years who participated in a 4 km cycle drive.
