To empower the growth of businesses through technology, Hewlett-Packard India is partnering with small and medium enterprises (SME) to establish the relevance colour printing solutions in office. Better known as the Colour Matters initiative, the program highlights the advantages of in-house printing for businesses across verticals. The healthcare sector is one of the key verticals will benefit from this HP initiative.

The versatile range of imaging and printing solutions by HP enables clinics, path labs and growing hospitals to take control of their in-house printing environment, while giving them the competitive edge in a cluttered market. With these solutions, the healthcare segment can effectively interact with patients, government institutions, regulatory bodies, prospective employees and other stakeholders. Research has shown that colour documents and collaterals are 80 percent easier to read in comparison to black and white ones. Smaller businesses prefer to outsource their printing needs because it is perceived to be more affordable. However, printing customized medical reports, research studies and clinic’s marketing collaterals in colour within the office can help them grow their efficiency and profitability in multiple ways.

By printing in-house on the HP colour laser solutions, companies can expect savings of up to 25 percent over a period of three years. Customers can also save space by using a single printing solution that lets users take black and white printouts from a colour printer at the same cost as that on a mono LaserJet, thereby eliminating the need to buy two printers for the office.

Also, with customer trust and loyalty being one of the prime concerns for the healthcare sector, HP’s in-house colour printing solutions can accelerate success for companies by giving them the option of personalizing customer communication and delivering real-time collaterals. Confidentiality, which is a critical factor in the sector, is also taken care of by HP’s in-house printing solutions, as the information is not shared with anyone but the patient. Additionally, these colour printing solutions are packed with tools such as the Colour Access Control, through which IT teams have the power to restrict colour printing to certain users. It also minimizes waste by determining which type of document can or cannot be printed in colour.
