Retail pharmacy management software business was sold by Arcadia for $2.2 million, cash, to an undisclosed pharmacy benefits management company.

Arcadia described that the sold non core Jascorp services and systems business included dispensing and billing software used by pharmacies. Under terms of the agreement, Arcadia will retain some proprietary software, source code and systems that support its DailyMed product. According to Arcadia the sale allows the Indianapolis-based company to focus on its core home care and medical staffing operations.
