Accentia Technologies Ltd., a leading provider of  Healthcare Receivables Cycle Management, has secured an order valued at US$ 22 million to service a chain of hospitals in US.  The order is for the year 2009-10. Accentia will be adding 1,800 seats before the end of 2009 at its Bangalore, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Cochin and Bhubaneshwar units.  The 1,800 seats (5,400 in 3-shifts) will enable Accentia to recruit 5,000 new persons in FY 2009-10. Accentia is slated to implement its healthdox platform to streamline and migrate the jobs offshore to its workforce in India and Philippines. Accentia Technologies provide HRCM including medical transcription, medical coding, billing and collection operations.
