A visually impaired student has developed Brailleface, software, which converts Braille commands into Devanagari script on the computer screen. Seventeen year old boy, Satveer has developed software for blind students. Satveer, has developed his own solution by writing software for Hindi speakers. Still Satveer is waiting for Government clearance to approve the software. A licensed copy of Microsoft’s JAWS the most popular screen reader for the visually impaired costs INR 70,000 and it cannot read most India languages.
