Bangalore-based diagnostics startup Orange Health Labs has raised $12 million in a funding round spearheaded by the Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund, with additional support from investors such as Accel, General Catalyst, Bertelsmann India Investments, and Y Combinator. This funding milestone elevates the company’s total capital raised to $47 million, as highlighted in a recent press statement.

Founded in 2020, Orange Health Labs has been revolutionizing diagnostic services by offering direct-to-home testing solutions, bookable through its website or mobile app. The company’s signature features include 60-minute sample collection and six-hour result delivery, supported by a proprietary logistics system that ensures efficiency and reliability.

The latest infusion of funds will be strategically utilized to broaden the company’s product portfolio, strengthen its workforce, and invest in cutting-edge diagnostic innovations. Orange Health Labs has achieved a significant 100-crore annual revenue run rate, with profitability already in place. The startup is on a rapid growth trajectory, aiming to double its revenue this year.

Having successfully expanded its operations to key metropolitan markets such as Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, the company is also building an omnichannel presence. Currently operating eight collection centers, Orange Health Labs plans to scale this number to 30 by the end of the year. To cater to the rising demand, the company intends to triple its phlebotomist workforce and establish a state-of-the-art testing facility in Bangalore.

Additionally, Orange Health recently launched ECG testing services, available at home or through its collection centers, further diversifying its service offerings.

Co-founders Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra expressed their vision of transforming the diagnostics landscape, noting that India’s diagnostic market is projected to reach $40 billion by 2034, fueled by increasing healthcare awareness and technological progress.
