Amazon has officially launched “Amazon Clinic” in India, bringing online doctor consultations to users across the country. This new service enables individuals to connect with licensed medical professionals for over 50 health conditions, offering convenience and access to healthcare directly through the Amazon app on Android and iOS devices.

Following a beta phase that began earlier this year, Amazon Clinic is now fully available to all users in India. The platform provides both on-demand consultations and scheduled appointments with qualified doctors, specializing in areas such as dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, nutrition, and mental health counseling. Consultation fees start at INR 299, with pricing based on the medical specialty.

Each consultation session ranges from 10 to 30 minutes, and users benefit from seven days of complimentary follow-up support. To further streamline the healthcare experience, Amazon Clinic integrates an in-app pharmacy feature, allowing users to purchase prescribed medications seamlessly through Amazon’s online pharmacy.

As a non-emergency service, Amazon Clinic is designed for minor health concerns or follow-ups post-diagnosis. Security is a key focus, with all medical records anonymized and securely stored. Amazon Clinic’s doctors bring a minimum of three years of experience in telemedicine, ensuring quality care for patients.

This expansion follows Amazon’s recent acquisition of One Medical for $3.9 billion, a strategic move to broaden its healthcare services globally. In the United States, Amazon integrated Amazon Clinic with One Medical’s primary care services on the amazon.com platform, aimed at simplifying patient access to care and enhancing user convenience.

With Amazon Clinic, the tech giant continues its commitment to expanding healthcare options and making essential health services accessible to more people in India.
