Online travel platform EaseMyTrip expands into healthcare services with investments in Pflege Home Healthcare and Rollins International, aiming to revolutionize medical tourism.
EaseMyTrip, a prominent online travel platform, has announced its entry into the rapidly growing medical tourism sector with two major acquisitions. The company has acquired a 49% stake in Dubai-based Pflege Home Healthcare for Rs 30 crore and a 30% stake in Rollins International for Rs 60 crore, marking a total investment of Rs 90 crore.
These acquisitions align with EaseMyTrip’s strategic focus on enhancing its service portfolio, making medical tourism more accessible to both domestic and international travelers.
Expanding Healthcare Services through Pflege Home Healthcare
The acquisition of Pflege Home Healthcare positions EaseMyTrip to offer a range of home-based medical services, including doctor consultations, nursing care, physiotherapy, and critical medical equipment supply. Pflege is recognized for delivering compassionate, patient-centric care, particularly in Dubai, a global hub for medical tourism. By integrating Pflege’s services into its offerings, EaseMyTrip aims to cater to medical tourists seeking advanced yet accessible healthcare solutions abroad.
Speaking about the acquisition, Nishant Pitti, CEO and co-founder of EaseMyTrip, commented, “Our investment in Pflege Home Healthcare opens the door to new opportunities in medical tourism. We aim to provide seamless, high-quality care for customers seeking medical treatment abroad, ensuring a convenient and comprehensive experience.”
Focus on Wellness Tourism with Rollins International
EaseMyTrip’s Rs 60 crore investment in Rollins International provides a foothold in the wellness sector. Rollins specializes in allergen-free food products, health supplements, and modern wellness therapies, with centers across major Indian cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. This acquisition allows EaseMyTrip to cater to the growing demand for wellness-focused travel experiences, particularly among health-conscious travelers who prioritize dietary and lifestyle preferences during their trips.
Rohan Jain, co-founder of Rollins International, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “This collaboration with EaseMyTrip allows us to combine our focus on wellness with their extensive travel network. Together, we will create unique, health-centric travel experiences for the modern traveler.”
