In a significant development, Sabine Hospital and Research Centre has successfully secured a substantial $50 million investment from CX Partners, a prominent private equity fund with a focus on the Indian mid-market. This funding, along with support from a consortium of investors including Tanas Capital, marks a pivotal moment for Sabine Hospital’s mission to revolutionize healthcare accessibility across India.

Dr. Sivadasan Sabine, the visionary Founder and Chairman of Sabine Hospital & Research Centre, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “CX Partners and the consortium of investors share our vision of making high-end fertility, birthing, and neonatal care affordable and accessible to even the most remote areas of India. This investment validates our commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care while addressing the pressing need for improved fertility and maternal healthcare services nationwide.”


Sabine Hospital, established in 2010, has swiftly risen to prominence for its comprehensive range of services encompassing infertility treatments, obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, pediatrics, general surgery, and genetics. With a focus on ethical practices and clinical excellence, the hospital has achieved remarkable growth, recording a staggering 25% compound annual growth rate over the past three years.

Vivek Chhachhi, Managing Partner at CX Partners, emphasized the immense potential of Sabine Hospital for expansion, stating, “Sabine Hospital and Research Centre exemplifies accessible healthcare at affordable costs. Currently operating two facilities in Kerala with a combined capacity of 300 beds, including 60 NICU beds, Sabine Hospital conducts over 6,000 IVF cycles and 3,000 deliveries annually. The hospital’s integrated model offers a comprehensive suite of mother and child healthcare services, attracting patients not only from across India but also from international locations such as the Maldives, Oman, and Bangladesh.

Looking ahead, Sabine Hospital is poised for expansion, with plans to add two additional facilities within the next 6-8 months.
