A study by AIG Hospitals, CSIR – Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB ) and Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (University of Hyderabad)- has shown that the “Monoclonal Antibody Therapy” is 100 per cent effective in preventing severe diseases and deaths due to SARS CoV 2 infection. The study results have revealed that 75 per cent of patients who were administered the monoclonal therapy became RT-PCR negative by the seventh day and 78 per cent of them got relieved of clinical symptoms like fever, cough, etc. within the same duration.

The study was conducted on a group of 300 patients with 98 per cent samples tested as Delta variant of COVID-19. Study results also showed that none of the participants developed any severe disease or lost their life.
