Priyanka Das, Senior IAS officer has been appointed as Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), Bhopal. The 2009-batch IAS Officer was Collector of Muraina district and was also Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh State Bus and Farm Development Corporation. Her transfer to NHM Bhopal is amid efforts by the Shivraj Singh-led Madhya Pradesh government to bring administrative reforms that followed announcements for a bureaucratic reshuffling of its 20 top IAS Officers.

Among other IAS officers who have been transferred and assigned with new responsibilities are Amit Rathore, Principal Secretary, Science, and Technology; Chhavi Bhardwaj, MD, MP Metro Rail Corporation; P Narhari, Secretary, MSME; Gulshan Bamra, Principal Secretary Planning, Economics, and Statistics department; E Ramesh Kumar, Commissioner, Social Justice, and Disabled Welfare Department; Vivek Kumar Porwal, MD, Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Jabalpur; Swati Meena Nayak, MD, Madhya Pradesh Women Finance and Development Corporation; Ram Rao Bhosle, Director, Women and Child Development department; Vikas Narwal, MD, State Agriculture Marketing Board; Rakesh Kumar Shrivastava, Deputy Secretary, Mineral Resources Department; Deepak Kumar Saxena, Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, Girish Sharma, Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department; and Rajesh Kumar Ogrey, Secretary, MP State Information Commission. The Government of Madhya Pradesh informed about the reshuffle through its General Administration Department’s press statement.
