The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has permitted all residents doctors to apply for ‘Golden Visas’ for ten years. Doctors licensed by the Gulf country’s healthcare regulators are eligible for applying it before September next year.

UAE’s long-term visa permits people belonging to other nations to work, live and study without requiring a sponsor from the Middle-eastern country. People of foreign countries consist of about 90% of the population of the UAE. But many of these have travelled to their home countries owing to job losses caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
