In the light of the surge in the Covid-19 cases in Rajasthan, the state government has taken the decision of providing a free Covid-19 kit to all people residing in the state. The Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government will include Paracetamol, Azithromycin, Levocetirizine, Zinc Sulphate, and Ascorbic Acid in the kit.

In a tweet in Hindi Gehlot said that doing door-to-door surveys as well as effectively distributing Covid-19 kits will help in the timely examination of patients. He also said that getting medicines and necessary treatment at the primary level will make it easier to save lives.

Earlier, the Rajasthan government had announced that the Covid-19 patients would be able to access free ambulance service to dedicated centres after obtaining referrals.

Rajasthan reported 11,597 cases and 157 deaths on Monday, The total active cases count in the state stands at 1,76,363.
