Participating during a panel discussion on ‘Next Gen Realities: IoT, Machine Learning, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Data Centre’at Elets Healthcare Transformation Summit, Goyal said: “Technology in public health is used in data collection, monitoring, analyzing trends, and making an informed decision to improved health outcomes. The global digital health market is said to be about $500 billion by 2025. It is mainly used by private agencies. The state is also looking out for acquiring a hospital-based management information system.”

“Mobile health services are stronger in public health with wide usage of smart phones in rural areas with frontline workers can easily reporting of data, communicate and post their reviews. Sensors picking up data and they are small low-cost programable devices from MRI, CT to Blood Pressure measure devices. IoT enables us to connect these devices and communicate and coordinate in real-time.”
