The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has commenced the counselling process for the first round of seat allocation for admission into PG courses. Candidates who had applied for the admission can visit the official website aiimsexams.org and fill the choices of online counseling for the first round till June 23 at 5 pm.

The mock first round of seat allocation will be announced on June 24, and the final seat allocation on June 30. The seat allocation will be done in order of merit and according to choices made by the candidates The premier institute declared the result on June 19 for admission to postgraduate courses–MD, MS, MCh, DM, MDS.

Important dates

Candidates who are allocated seats in the first round of counselling will have to accept seat online from July 1 to 6. The second round of counselling will begin from July 7. Candidates will have to submit their choices by July 11. It’s result will be out on July 15. The second round of Counselling will be held between July 16 to 21.

Documents needed

Candidates need a series of documents including offer letter, seat allocation letter, final registration slip, admit card, mark sheets of MBBS/BDS first, second and third professional exam, MBBS/BDS degree certificate, internship completion, registration certificate issued by MCI, class 10 and 12 certificates.

Candidates who are selected through the counselling will have to appear for a medical examination which will be conducted by the board. The course will begin in July.
