
Veteran healthcare professional Sumit Puri has joined Evercare group backed by TPG Capital as its new Group CTO.
Evercare Group is a conglomerate of 26 hospitals, 20 primary care clinics and diagnostics businesses across Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria and India. Puri who has proved track records with over two decades of industry experience in the field of technology and business operations will report to Andrew Currie, COO and acting CEO of Evercare Group.

In his new role based in Dubai, he will be in charge of the technology wing for the entire conglomerate, as per a report in Economic Times.

Responding to the development, Puri was quoted as saying, “Designing enterprise-level digital strategy and data-driven technology models will be some of my key priorities post joining.”
“The group will be focussing on integrated EHR deployments across hospital units globally and would be leveraging AI, Big Data and predictive analytics effectively. Deploying new-age technology to enhance patient safety and deliver affordable patient care in Evercare hospital units located across countries will be my foremost agenda”, he said.
Before starting his new inning at Evercare group, Puri worked with Max Group for 4 years as CIO.
