Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA has announced the launch of Sugammadex Injection, available in 200 mg/2 mL and 500 mg/5 mL single-dose vials, further strengthening its growing injectables portfolio in the United States. The product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC’s reference listed drug, BRIDION® Injection (100 mg/mL).

Sugammadex Injection is indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide during surgery. The launch marks another milestone in Glenmark’s strategy to expand its presence in the U.S. hospital and institutional healthcare segment by offering high-quality and affordable injectable medicines.

According to IQVIA data for the 12-month period ending May 2026, the U.S. market for BRIDION® Injection generated annual sales of approximately US$1.6 billion, presenting a significant commercial opportunity for Glenmark.
