Alcon has expanded its presence in India with the launch of a second office for Alcon Global Services (AGS) in Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and global operations. The expansion strengthens the company’s footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystems and reflects its long-term investment strategy in India.

The new AGS facility will support a wide range of global functions, including information technology, research and development, customer operations, supply chain analytics, finance, and digital transformation. By enhancing its operational capabilities, Alcon aims to accelerate innovation while improving efficiency across its global business.

Commenting on the expansion, Gopal Sharma, Global Leader, Global Shared Services, Operations & Set-up and Head of AGS, described the move as a strategic investment in talent and future growth rather than simply adding office space. He emphasised that the new facility will help strengthen Alcon’s ability to attract skilled professionals, foster innovation, and support the company’s global operations.
