Zimmer Biomet has expanded its presence in India with the launch of a new Global Capability Center (GCC) and Innovation Lab in Bengaluru, reinforcing the city’s growing position as a global hub for healthcare technology and digital innovation. The new facility will support the company’s global operations while accelerating advancements across technology, analytics, engineering, and business processes.

The Global Capability Center has been established to drive digital transformation initiatives and strengthen capabilities in healthcare technology, engineering, analytics, and enterprise services. It will serve as a strategic innovation hub, enabling collaboration across Zimmer Biomet’s global teams while supporting the development of next-generation digital healthcare solutions.

As part of its expansion plans, the company intends to recruit around 500 professionals for the state-of-the-art facility. The new workforce will comprise experts across digital technologies, software engineering, analytics, and healthcare innovation, contributing to the company’s long-term growth strategy and strengthening its global talent ecosystem.
