Apollo invests approx ₹40 Cr to build Lymphedema Clinic for women’s healthcare. Apollo Hospitals is investing approximately ₹40 crore to establish a specialised Lymphedema Clinic focused on women’s healthcare. The initiative is aimed at bringing advanced lymphatic care and rehabilitation services to patients in India.

The first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary programme is designed to bring global standards of lymphatic care to India, with a focus on comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients affected by lymphedema.

Lymphedema can occur following cancer treatment, particularly after procedures involving lymph nodes, and can lead to persistent swelling, discomfort, restricted mobility and a reduced quality of life. Dedicated clinical management and rehabilitation can help patients manage the condition and improve daily functioning.

Apollo’s initiative will bring together specialists from multiple disciplines to provide coordinated care for patients. The programme is expected to strengthen access to specialised lymphedema assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and long-term management.
