JP Nadda also highlighted the need to increase public awareness campaigns, encouraging citizens to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and adopt preventive measures. Officials were instructed to maintain regular inspections in vulnerable areas, ensure fogging and larvicidal operations, and strengthen community participation to reduce the spread of mosquito-borne diseases.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to proactive preparedness, aiming to minimise the impact of dengue during the monsoon months through coordinated planning and rapid response mechanisms. The review reflects the Centre’s continued focus on protecting public health and ensuring that healthcare systems remain fully prepared to tackle seasonal outbreaks effectively.
