The Adani Group has announced plans to establish a 2,000-bed multi-specialty hospital in West Bengal, with 1,000 beds dedicated to providing free treatment for economically disadvantaged patients. The proposed project is expected to significantly strengthen healthcare infrastructure in eastern India while improving access to affordable, high-quality medical services for underserved communities.

The upcoming hospital is envisioned as a state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering advanced clinical services, modern medical technologies, and specialised treatment across multiple disciplines. By reserving half of its bed capacity for free treatment, the initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on vulnerable sections of society and expand equitable access to quality healthcare.
