Cipla has announced the opening of its new Breathfree Lung Wellness Centre in Delhi, marking a strategic expansion of its respiratory care ecosystem and reinforcing its long-standing leadership in pulmonary health. The 3,500 sq. ft. facility is designed to function as a comprehensive, one-stop hub for lung diagnostics, assessment, and wellness services, addressing the growing national burden of asthma, COPD, and other chronic respiratory conditions.

The centre brings together state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, patient education programmes, and personalised care pathways under a single roof—reflecting Cipla’s commitment to enabling early detection, improving disease management, and empowering patients with long-term respiratory support.

A notable feature of the project is its modern, patient-centric environment. Instead of the traditional sterile clinical layout, the facility adopts a wellness-first design philosophy aimed at reducing patient anxiety, enhancing comfort, and ensuring seamless clinical workflows. The transformation was executed by HOSMAC, which undertook the interior planning, engineering, and construction elements required to convert an existing commercial structure into a medically optimised care centre.

Commenting on the initiative, Cipla said the Lung Wellness Centre aligns with the company’s mission to expand accessible, high-quality respiratory care across India. With respiratory diseases accounting for one of the highest shares of outpatient visits in the country, the centre has been envisioned as an integrated solution to support both prevention and advanced clinical management.
