Global analytical and laboratory technology leader, Agilent Technologies, has officially launched its first India Solution Centre, strategically located at its LEED Platinum-certified facility in Manesar, Haryana. This milestone signifies Agilent’s commitment to advancing India’s healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, and applied markets through localised, end-to-end solutions.
The new 12,500 sq. ft. facility is designed to offer comprehensive scientific workflows and proof-of-concept demonstrations, addressing critical areas such as GLP-1 analysis, PFAS detection, and testing of emerging contaminants in food and the environment. As India witnesses rising concerns over chronic health issues like Type 2 diabetes and heightened scrutiny on food and environmental safety, Agilent’s localised innovations are set to support this growing demand.
“India is a strategic market for Agilent, and we are thrilled to open our state-of-the-art Solution Centre in Manesar. This facility is designed to provide our Indian customers with the resources and collaboration they need to address critical scientific and health challenges. By offering holistic and specialised workflows—from sample preparation to smart and fast results reporting—we aim to boost lab efficiency, support automation, and promote sustainable practices. Our goal is to help labs meet their financial, scientific, and sustainability objectives,” said Jonah Kirkwood, Chief Commercial Officer, Agilent.
The centre was inaugurated in the presence of thought leaders and decision-makers from sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals to environmental sciences. Featuring dedicated technology zones for chromatography, mass-spectrometry, spectroscopy, cell analysis, genomics, and lab informatics, the centre reinforces Agilent’s role in accelerating drug development, improving diagnostic accuracy, and enhancing public health safety.
In line with India’s national priorities, such as the “Make in India” initiative, the centre not only facilitates innovation but also supports collaborative R&D, method development, and hands-on training to nurture local expertise and foster scientific self-reliance.
