4th February 2024, New Delhi: Today, on World Cancer Day, the Indian Cancer Society (ICS) takes a giant leap in the fight against cancer by launching the “Rise Against Cancer” mobile app. This innovative app aims to tackle the primary impediment in cancer care – lack of awareness.

4. Reinforcement of Medical Instructions: For patients overwhelmed by medical information, the app serves as a reinforcement tool, ensuring that crucial instructions from healthcare professionals are retained.

5. Palliative Care Resources: Acknowledging the reality of advanced-stage cancer, the app guides users on palliative care, emphasizing the importance of living pain-free and making arrangements for the future.
