In a significant step towards digitalisation, Malaffi, the health information exchange (HIE) platform of Abu Dhabi, has finalised a new integration phase with the federal platform, Riayati. This development, carried out in association with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), now allows Malaffi’s clinicians to view patient details from their visits to health centres in the Northern Emirates.

Earlier in the year, an initial amalgamation of the three HIE platforms – Malaffi, Riayati, and Nabidh – was established. This provided Riayati users with access to crucial HIE data, enhancing their capacity for prompt and top-tier patient care.

This deeper integration between Malaffi and Riayati accentuates the UAE’s commitment to elevating healthcare quality and ensuring seamless patient care continuity. Riayati has amassed an impressive 2.7 billion medical records, representing 11.6 million patients, gathered from more than 3,850 healthcare establishments nationwide.
